Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose CleanOps from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your CleanOps API key. In CleanOps go to Settings → APIs & Webhooks and create an API key. Copy the key (it starts with cleanops_key_).

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in CleanOps?

It can search and read customers, leads, jobs, quotes, invoices and employees, or search across all of them at once. It can create and update customers, leads, jobs, quotes and invoices, add internal notes, convert leads to customers, mark jobs completed and send quotes and invoices to customers.

Does the AI see my CleanOps API key?

No. Your CleanOps API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Sending a quote or invoice notifies the customer right away, and completing a job changes its status. These actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own CleanOps account.

Will my customers get messages when the AI makes changes?

Only in some cases. Sending a quote or invoice notifies the customer immediately. Creating or updating a job may notify the customer, unless the AI sets suppress_notifications. Notes you add are internal and are not sent to customers.
