Set up in three steps

    Pick the app

    Create a free PipMCP account and choose Checkvist from the app list.

    Paste your key

    Enter your Checkvist login email as the username and your Remote API key as the password. You find the Remote API key on your Checkvist profile page.

    You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:

    1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
    2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.

What can the AI do in Checkvist?

The AI can list your checklists and the tasks in them with status, due dates, tags and comments, and read your user details. It can create checklists and tasks, import many tasks from indented text, add or remove tags, add comments and make tasks repeat.

Does the AI see my Checkvist credentials?

No. Your Checkvist login and Remote API key are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with reading your lists only. The tools in this connection add and change checklists, tasks, tags and comments, and none of them delete anything. Changes can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Checkvist account.

Can the AI add a whole outline at once?

Yes. Give it an outline or meeting notes, and it imports them into a checklist as indented text, one task per line. Indented lines become subtasks of the line above, so the structure of your outline is kept.
