Ask your AI what is left on a gift card, whether a card can still be used, or to redeem an amount from it. PipMCP connects Claude or ChatGPT to Cardivo's public API, so you can check and redeem digital gift cards from a chat. The connection has two tools: one checks a card's status and balance, the other redeems an amount.

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Cardivo from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Cardivo access token. In Cardivo, open Settings > Integrations, go to the Public API section and switch it on to generate the token. If the token leaks, you can regenerate it there.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in Cardivo?
It can check a gift card's status and remaining balance by its card number, and redeem an amount from a gift card with currency, date, the customer's email and a related link. Those are the two tools in this connection.
Does the AI see my Cardivo access token?
No. Your Cardivo access token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can allow balance checks only. Redeeming deducts value from a gift card and cannot be undone, so it can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Cardivo account.
Can a redemption be undone?
No. Redeeming deducts the value from the gift card and cannot be undone through this connection. The AI checks the balance first, and you can require your approval before any redemption runs.
