Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Breezy HR from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Breezy HR Personal Access Token and your Breezy company ID. To create the token, click your user icon in the lower-left of Breezy, go to My Settings, open the API Keys tab and click Create API Key. Give it a name and copy the token, which starts with breezy_pat_ and is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Breezy HR?

The AI can read positions, pipelines, departments, users, hiring teams, candidates, resumes, documents, activity and candidate emails. It can create and update positions and candidates, change a position's state, move candidates between stages and positions, add notes, send emails to candidates and submit scorecards, if you switch those tools on.

Does the AI see my Breezy HR token?

No. Your Breezy HR token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Sending an email reaches the candidate right away, publishing a position makes the job ad public, and moving a stage can trigger Breezy automations. These actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Breezy HR account.

Will candidates notice when the AI works in Breezy?

Only for some actions. Notes and scorecards are internal and candidates do not see them. Sending a message emails the candidate, and moving someone to a new stage can trigger the emails you have set up as stage automations in Breezy. Keep those tools off or require approval if you want to check every email first.
