Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose AWeber from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste the Client ID and Client secret from your own AWeber app, then sign in with your normal AWeber login once. Sign up for a free developer account at labs.aweber.com and click Create a New App. Enter a name, add the OAuth Redirect URL https://pipmcp.com/oauth/callback, keep it a confidential client and save. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from My Apps. The AWeber account ID is optional.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in AWeber?

It can read accounts, lists, segments, custom fields, tags, subscribers, broadcasts and campaigns, and see opens, clicks, stats and subscriber activity. It can add, update and delete subscribers, add and remove tags, create and edit draft broadcasts, and schedule or cancel a broadcast.

Does the AI see my AWeber credentials?

No. Your AWeber credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups and stats. Scheduling a broadcast emails every targeted subscriber, and deleting a subscriber is permanent, so both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

AWeber connects with OAuth, and this OAuth connection needs the PipMCP Pro plan. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own AWeber account.

Can the AI send emails to my list on its own?

Only if you let it. The AI writes broadcasts as drafts, and nothing is sent until a draft is scheduled. You can switch off the schedule tool or require your approval for it, and a scheduled broadcast can be cancelled before it goes out. Adding a subscriber may trigger the list's own confirmation or welcome email.
