Create a free PipMCP account and choose Zoho Projects from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste four values: your Zoho domain ending (com, eu, in, com.au, jp, ca or sa), a Client ID, a Client secret and your Zoho Projects portal ID. Go to api-console.zoho.com on your Zoho data center, click Add Client › Server-based Applications, enter any name and homepage URL, and set the Authorized Redirect URI to https://pipmcp.com/oauth/callback. Then connect with your Zoho login.

Questions

What can the AI do in Zoho Projects?

It can list and read projects, tasks, task lists, milestones, issues, task comments, time logs and users, across the portal or in one project. It can create and update projects, tasks and issues, create task lists, log and update time, add comments to tasks and delete tasks.

Does the AI see my Zoho Projects credentials?

No. Your Zoho Projects credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Creating and updating issues can require your approval before it runs, and so can deleting a task, which is permanent. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

Zoho Projects connects with OAuth, and this OAuth connection needs the PipMCP Pro plan. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Zoho Projects account.

Why do I need to create a client in the Zoho API console?

Zoho Projects uses OAuth, so PipMCP needs a Client ID and Client secret from a server-based application that you create in your own Zoho account. You set its redirect URI to https://pipmcp.com/oauth/callback, paste the values into PipMCP and log in with Zoho to approve access. Pick the domain ending that matches your Zoho data center, for example eu or com, and add your portal ID so the AI works in the right portal.
