What can the AI do in TED EU tenders?
It can search the public procurement notices published on TED with an expert search query, choose which fields to return, limit the scope to latest, active or all notices and page through the results. It only reads.
Does the AI see my TED EU tenders credentials?
There are none to see. The TED Search API needs no account or API key, so you do not paste anything into PipMCP. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls. An API key is only needed for publishing notices, which this app does not do.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. The only tool here searches public notices, so nothing is changed anywhere. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. The TED Search API itself is open to everyone.
Can the AI submit a bid or publish a notice?
No. This app only searches notices that are already published on TED. Publishing notices needs a separate TED API key and is not part of this app, and bids are submitted through the procedure the notice describes.
