It resends the reward to the new email, and Sam gets a new message.
“Cancel the unredeemed reward on this order line.”
It looks up the reason codes and cancels the reward. The recipient can no longer redeem it, and this cannot be undone.

It lists the rewards for that campaign with recipients, amounts and delivery status.

Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Tango from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Tango Platform name and API key. Log in to the Tango portal (portal.tangocard.com) with a user that has the Tango API keys permission, go to Team settings > API credentials, click API keys > Create credentials and copy both values. If API key management is not available on your platform, ask your Tango representative or [email protected] to enable it.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Tango?

It can list and read accounts and their balances, customers, the reward catalog, choice products, brand categories, reward countries, exchange rates, email templates, orders and individual rewards. It can update a reward's delivery date, note or sender details, resend an order or a single reward, and cancel an unredeemed reward.

Does the AI see my Tango credentials?

No. Your Tango credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with balances and order lookups. Resending a reward sends an email or text, and cancelling a reward cannot be undone. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Tango account.

Can the AI order new gift cards?

No. Placing new orders is not among the Tango tools in PipMCP. The AI can look up balances, the catalog, orders and rewards, update a reward's delivery date or note, resend rewards and cancel unredeemed ones.
