Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Adyen from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste three values: your live URL prefix, an API key and your merchant account name. In your live Adyen Customer Area, go to Developers › API credentials, create or open a Web service user, and under Server settings › Authentication choose API key › Generate API key. Copy the key and save changes. The prefix is under Developers › API URLs › Prefix.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in Adyen?
It can create, read and expire payment links, check the result of a checkout session, capture authorised payments, refund captured payments, cancel uncaptured ones and list payment methods, including a shopper's stored ones. It works with a payment reference or link ID, so it does not browse your full transaction history.
Does the AI see my Adyen API key?
No. Your Adyen API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. Switch on only the tools you want, for example payment links without refunds. Refunds send money back to the shopper and cancelling an authorised payment cannot be undone, so these can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Adyen account.
Why does Adyen need a URL prefix?
Adyen's live API addresses are specific to each account. The prefix tells PipMCP which live address belongs to yours. You find it in the Customer Area under Developers › API URLs › Prefix.
