Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose SpreadsheetWeb Hub from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste the Client ID and Client secret of a SpreadsheetWeb Hub API client, plus your Workspace ID. In SpreadsheetWeb Hub select your workspace, open API in the navigation and click Create New Client, then choose its access and tags. API access depends on your SpreadsheetWeb subscription and is not in the free tier.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in SpreadsheetWeb Hub?

It can list and read applications, their tags, named ranges, availability and saved records, and list tags and users. It can run an application's calculation, update application settings, create and assign tags, invite users and delete saved records.

Does the AI see my SpreadsheetWeb Hub credentials?

No. Your SpreadsheetWeb Hub client ID and secret are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups and calculations. Deleting records cannot be undone, inviting a user sends an email, and settings changes are visible to the app's users. Those tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

SpreadsheetWeb Hub connects with OAuth, and OAuth connections need the PipMCP Pro plan or above. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own SpreadsheetWeb Hub account.

Does running a calculation save a record?

No. The run_calculation tool sends your inputs to the application's spreadsheet and returns the outputs you ask for, without saving a record. Saved records only come from the application itself, and the AI can list them separately.
