What can the AI do in ScreenshotOne?
It can take screenshots and PDFs of web pages or of raw HTML and Markdown, with options such as full page, device preset, dark mode and cookie banner blocking. It can also list the device presets and read your account's API usage.
Does the AI see my ScreenshotOne credentials?
No. You paste your ScreenshotOne access key into PipMCP once. Your ScreenshotOne credentials are encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save them, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools you have switched on.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example only get_usage and list_devices, and any tool can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged, so you can see which pages the AI captured.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own ScreenshotOne account.
Can the AI screenshot my own HTML instead of a live page?
Yes. Instead of a url, the AI can pass raw html or markdown to take_screenshot, and ScreenshotOne renders it and captures the result. This is useful for checking an email template or a draft page before it is published.
