Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Procore from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste the Client ID and Client Secret from your own Procore app and your Company ID, then sign in to Procore once. At developers.procore.com create a new app, add the redirect URI https://pipmcp.com/oauth/callback under its production OAuth credentials and copy the Client ID and Client Secret. Promote the app version and have a Procore company admin install it through App Management. Your Company ID is the number after /companies/ in your Procore web address.

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Procore?

The AI can read projects, the project directory, RFIs, submittals, punch items, observations, incidents, daily construction logs, schedule tasks, drawings, timesheets and commitments. It can create and update RFIs, punch items and observations, comment on punch items, record incidents and add daily log entries.

Does the AI see my Procore credentials?

No. Your Procore credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Creating RFIs, punch items, observations, incidents and daily logs changes your Procore project, and a non-draft RFI notifies the people on it. These tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

Procore connects with OAuth, and this connection needs the PipMCP Pro plan. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Procore account.

Why do I need to create my own Procore app?

PipMCP connects to Procore through an OAuth app that you own. You create it at developers.procore.com, a company admin installs it in your Procore company, and you sign in once. The AI then acts as the Procore user you signed in with.
