Questions
What can the AI do in Podcast.co?
It can read public information about podcasts hosted on Podcast.co: podcast details, published episodes, single episodes with audio, hosts, directory listings, social links, donation settings, public page settings and embeddable players. It cannot change anything.
Does the AI see my Podcast.co credentials?
There are none to see. The Podcast.co Public API needs no account or API key, so you do not paste anything into PipMCP. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. All Podcast.co tools only read public information, so none of them change data. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?

What is a podcast slug?
The slug is the lowercase name of the podcast in its Podcast.co URL. Episodes have their own slug too. The AI needs the podcast slug for every lookup, and the episode slug to get one episode or its player.
