Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose People Data Labs from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your People Data Labs API key. Sign in to the People Data Labs dashboard (a free account works), click API Keys and copy your Active Key. Every successful match uses credits from your plan.

Questions
What can the AI do in People Data Labs?
The AI can enrich people and companies, find ranked person matches from partial details, search the person and company datasets with SQL, fetch a person by ID and look up the company behind an IP address. It can also normalise company names and locations, get related titles and skills, and autocomplete search values. All tools only read data.
Does the AI see my People Data Labs API key?
No. Your People Data Labs credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. All People Data Labs tools only read, but enrichment and search use credits, so you can leave search_people and search_companies off if you want to keep usage low. Every tool call is logged, so you can see what was looked up.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own People Data Labs account, and lookups use credits from your plan there.
Does it use my People Data Labs credits?
Yes. enrich_person and enrich_company use a credit per match, search_people and search_companies use a credit per record returned, and identify_person uses credits too. Asking for fewer records in a search keeps usage down. A free People Data Labs account works to get started.
