With OnPay connected it can search transactions by order ID or status, read their history, create payment links, and capture, refund or cancel transactions. It can also look up subscriptions and see which acquirers, providers and wallets are active.

These tools are switched on when you connect. You can switch any of them off, or require your approval before it runs.

cancel_subscriptionDeletesCancel a subscription by UUID or subscription number. No new transactions can be created from it afterwards. This cannot be undone.
cancel_transactionDeletesCancel an authorized transaction by UUID or transaction number so it can no longer be captured. This cannot be undone.
capture_transactionMoves moneyCapture (charge) an authorized transaction by UUID or transaction number. Leave out `amount` to capture the full amount. This takes the customer's money and cannot be undone.
create_payment_linkChanges dataCreate a payment with `currency`, `amount` in minor units (12000 = 120.00 DKK), a unique `reference` and the shop `website`, and get a payment window link to send to the customer. Set `type` to subscription to save a card for later charges.
get_gateway_infoGet information about the OnPay gateway the API token belongs to, such as the gateway ID. Use it to confirm which gateway you are working in.

Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose OnPay from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste an OnPay API token. In the OnPay management panel go to Settings > API, press New API token, enter a name and press Create. The token gives full API access to that gateway, so keep it private.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in OnPay?

The AI can search and read transactions, transaction events and subscriptions, create payment links, and capture, refund or cancel transactions and cancel subscriptions if you switch those tools on. It can also read the gateway's designs, acquirers, providers and wallets.

Does the AI see my OnPay API token?

No. Your OnPay token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with reading only. Capturing and refunding move real money, and cancelling cannot be undone. These can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own OnPay account.

Can one connection cover several OnPay gateways?

No. An OnPay API token belongs to one gateway. If you have several gateways, create a token in each and add each one as its own connection.
