Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Mollie from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Mollie Live API key, which starts with live_. In the Mollie Dashboard, go to Developers › API keys and copy it. Use the Test API key (test_) instead if you want to try things without real money first.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Mollie?

It can read payments, refunds, chargebacks, customers, mandates, subscriptions, payment links, sales invoices, settlements and your organization details. It can create and update customers and payment links, create sales invoices and subscriptions, cancel subscriptions and refund payments.

Does the AI see my Mollie API key?

No. Your Mollie API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. Switch on only the tools you want, for example lookups without refunds. Refunds send money back, new subscriptions charge customers automatically, and a cancelled subscription cannot be restarted, so these can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Mollie account.

What is a mandate, and why does a subscription need one?

A mandate is the customer's permission for you to charge them automatically. Mollie needs a valid mandate before a subscription can start. The AI can list a customer's mandates and check this before it creates the subscription.
