Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Microsoft Clarity from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Clarity Data Export API token. You must be an admin of the Clarity project. Open the project in Clarity, go to Settings > Data Export, click Generate new API token, give it a name and copy the token. Each token works for one project.

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Microsoft Clarity?
It can read the dashboard insights for your Clarity project: sessions, users, scroll depth, dead and rage clicks and engagement, for the last 1, 2 or 3 days, broken down by up to three dimensions such as device, country or URL. It only reads data and cannot change anything in Clarity.
Does the AI see my Microsoft Clarity API token?
No. You paste your Microsoft Clarity API token into PipMCP once. It is encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save it. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. The Clarity tool only reads insights, so the AI cannot change your project or its settings. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own Microsoft Clarity project.
Why can the AI only see the last three days?
Clarity's Data Export API returns insights for the last 1 to 3 days only, with up to 1,000 rows per request. Clarity also allows 10 requests per project per day, so it helps to ask for the breakdown you need in one question.
