Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Mailjet from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Mailjet API key and Secret key. In Mailjet, open Account settings › API Key Management (REST API keys) and copy both. You can also create a sub-account key and use that instead.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Mailjet?

It can read contacts and their properties and list subscriptions, contact lists, campaigns, campaign drafts, templates, sent messages and their event history, sender addresses, your account profile and sending statistics. It can create and update contacts, create lists, manage subscriptions, create and fill campaign drafts, send tests, send campaigns and send transactional emails.

Does the AI see my Mailjet API keys?

No. Your Mailjet API key and Secret key are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Sending a campaign or a transactional email cannot be undone, so send_campaign_draft and send_email can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Mailjet account.

Can I test a campaign before it goes out?

Yes. The AI can send a test of a campaign draft to a few addresses you name. Sending the draft to its whole list is a separate tool, send_campaign_draft, which you can keep switched off or set to require your approval.
