Connect Claude & ChatGPT to GetMyInvoices

Ask your AI which invoices are unpaid, where a supplier's latest invoice is, or what is waiting for approval in GetMyInvoices. It can search, read, download, upload and update documents, manage companies and tags, and link documents to bank transactions. It can also approve, reject or comment on workflow approvals, with your approval if you want it.

Try asking

  • “Which invoices from Nordic Print are still unpaid?”

The AI finds the company and searches its documents with an unpaid payment status, with amounts and dates.

  • “Download the PDF of invoice 2024-118.”

It searches by document number and downloads the document's file.

  • “Match the 1,250 EUR payment from March 3 to the Nordic Print invoice.”

It finds the bank transaction and the document and links them, so the transaction is marked as matched.

What your AI can do

Invoices and documents

Search, read, download, upload, update and delete documents, and add or list attachments.

Companies and tags

List, read, create and update suppliers and customers with address, VAT ID and bank details, and list tags.

Bank and approvals

Read bank accounts and transactions, link documents to transactions, and approve, reject or comment on approvals.

  • “What is waiting for approval, and what did people comment?”

It lists documents in approval workflows and reads the approvals with their comments.

  • “Add a new supplier, Nordic Print ApS, with VAT ID DK12345678.”

It checks the company list to avoid a duplicate and creates the company with name and VAT ID.

  • “Tag last month's hosting invoices as IT costs.”

It searches the documents, finds the tag and updates each document's tags.

Questions

What can the AI do in GetMyInvoices?

The AI can search and read invoices and other documents, download their files, upload new documents, update or delete them and manage attachments. It can list, read, create and update companies, list tags and users, read bank accounts and transactions, link a document to a transaction, and approve, reject or comment on workflow approvals.

Does the AI see my GetMyInvoices credentials?

No. Your GetMyInvoices API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Deleting a document is permanent, and approving a step moves a document on in its workflow and can release it for payment. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own GetMyInvoices account.

Can the AI upload invoices to GetMyInvoices?

Yes. The AI can upload a document with a file name, the file content and a document type, and optionally set the company, amounts, dates, payment status and tags or ask GetMyInvoices to run OCR. It can also attach extra files to an existing document.
