Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose eGifter Rewards from the app list.

Paste your key
Enter the email of the eGifter Rewards user with API access and that user's access token. You need an approved eGifter Rewards business account. Provision the API access token in the eGifter Rewards portal's user management and copy it, it is shown only once. The production API is IP-whitelisted, so ask your eGifter account manager to whitelist PipMCP's server IP first.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in eGifter Rewards?

The AI can list and read gift card products, list and read past orders, check the balance of a gift card issued in an order, and read your account details, account balance and departments. It does not place orders.

Does the AI see my eGifter Rewards credentials?

No. Your eGifter Rewards email and access token are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example only products and orders. All the tools read data, and every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own eGifter Rewards account.

Why do I need to whitelist an IP address?

The eGifter Rewards production API only accepts requests from IP addresses your account has approved. Ask your eGifter account manager to whitelist PipMCP's server IP before you connect, otherwise the calls are refused.
