Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose csvbox.io from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste two values: your csvbox API key and your Secret API key. Log in to the csvbox dashboard at app.csvbox.io, click your profile name > Profile, open the API Keys tab and copy both keys.

What can the AI do in csvbox.io?
The AI can list your import sheets, read a sheet's full configuration, create new sheets and update a sheet's title, columns or validations. It can also import a spreadsheet file into a sheet from a public file URL.
Does the AI see my csvbox.io credentials?
No. Your csvbox API key and Secret API key are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start by only reading sheets. Importing a file sends data on to the sheet's destinations, so it can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

Does the file I import need to be public?
Yes. The import tool takes a public file URL, so the spreadsheet must be reachable at a link csvbox can open. The AI passes that link together with the sheet's license key.
