Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose ClearoutPhone from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a ClearoutPhone API token. Log in to ClearoutPhone, open Dashboard > API in the left sidebar and click Generate API Token. Generating a new token replaces the old one.

- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.

What can the AI do in ClearoutPhone?
It can validate a phone number and return whether it is valid, its line type, carrier and location. It can also read how many validation credits are left on your account.
Does the AI see my ClearoutPhone credentials?
No. Your ClearoutPhone API token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. Each validation uses one ClearoutPhone credit, so the validation tool can require your approval before it runs, while the credit check runs freely. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own ClearoutPhone account, and each validation uses one of your ClearoutPhone credits.
Why do I need to give a country code?
Numbers written in national format, like 020 7946 0000, do not say which country they belong to. The AI passes a country code such as US or GB so ClearoutPhone reads the number correctly. Numbers with a full international prefix work without it.
