Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose change.photos from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your change.photos API key. Create an account at change.photos/register, sign in and copy the API key from your account. The images you want to transform must be available at a public URL.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in change.photos?
It has one tool, transform_image. It takes an image at a public URL and can resize it (width, height, fit), change format and quality, compress, rotate, flip or flop, blur, sharpen, make it grayscale or tint it. It returns the processed image and does not change the original.
Does the AI see my change.photos credentials?
No. Your change.photos credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, and risky actions can require your approval before they run. change.photos has one tool, and it returns a processed copy without changing the original. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own change.photos account.
Does the image need to be online?
Yes. transform_image works on an image at a public URL, so the image must be reachable on the internet, for example on your website. The AI passes the link to change.photos and gets the processed image back.
