Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Byteplant Phone Validator
Ask your AI whether a phone number works before you add it to your CRM or send it a text. With Byteplant Phone Validator it checks a number in real time and returns its status, line type, carrier and location. For a quicker check it can run static checks only.
Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.
Try asking
“Is +1 212 555 0147 a working number?”
The AI validates the number in real time and returns its status, line type, carrier and location.
“Check 030 1234567, it is a German number.”
It validates the number with country code DE, so a national-format number is read correctly.
“Can I send an SMS to this number?”
It validates the number and tells you whether the line type is mobile.
What your AI can do
Real-time validation
Check a phone number live and get its status, line type, carrier and location.
Express mode
Run static checks only when you just need to know if a number looks right.
Any country
Pass a country code for numbers in national format, or use the full international number.
“Which carrier does +45 31 23 45 67 belong to?”
It validates the number and returns the carrier and location.
“Just do a quick check on these numbers.”
It runs the validation in express mode, which does static checks only.
“Validate the five phone numbers in this list.”
It validates each number in turn and summarizes which ones are valid. Each validation uses one credit.

Questions
What can the AI do in Byteplant Phone Validator?
It can validate a phone number in real time and return its status, line type, carrier and location. It can also run express mode, which does static checks only. It does not change anything in your account.
Does the AI see my Byteplant credentials?
No. Your Byteplant API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose whether the validation tool is switched on, and you can require your approval before it runs, since each validation uses one Byteplant credit. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Byteplant account, and each validation uses one of your Byteplant credits.
What is the difference between real-time and express mode?
A real-time validation checks the number live and returns its status, line type, carrier and location. Express mode does static checks only and does not check the number live. Both use one credit.
