Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Autohost from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Autohost API key. Log in to the Autohost Dashboard, go to Settings > API, click Create API Key and copy the key into PipMCP.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Autohost?

The AI can search and read reservations, listings, screening status and summaries, notes, payments, guest portal links and background check results. It can validate emails and phone numbers, check IP threat signals and search watchlists. It can create and update listings and reservations, approve or decline reservations, and submit background checks.

Does the AI see my Autohost credentials?

No. Your Autohost API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Submitting a background check may be billed to your Autohost plan, and approving or declining a reservation is a real decision, so both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Autohost account. Background checks may be billed to your Autohost plan, which is between you and Autohost.

Can the AI approve or decline a guest on its own?

Only if you switch on the review tool. It then approves or declines a reservation after manual review and can add notes explaining why. You can require your approval before each review runs, so the AI prepares the decision and you confirm it.
