What can the AI do in AlphaLoops?

The AI can look up carriers by USDOT number, MC number or company name and read their profile, overview, authority history, timeline, trucks, trailers, inspections, violations, crashes, insurance filings, news, risk signals and related companies. It can search and filter carriers, find similar ones, look up vehicles by VIN, find contacts at a carrier and list MC authorities for sale. All tools only read data.

Does the AI see my AlphaLoops API key?

No. Your AlphaLoops credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example carrier lookups without contact search. The tools only read data and do not change anything in AlphaLoops. You can still require your approval before a tool runs, and every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own AlphaLoops account.

How do I get an AlphaLoops API key?

API access is part of the AlphaLoops Enterprise plan. Contact AlphaLoops through runalphaloops.com/contact to get your key, then paste it into PipMCP.
