Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Zoho Backstage from the app list.

Paste your key
Create your own Zoho API client, paste your Zoho domain ending, Client ID, Client Secret and Backstage portal ID, then sign in with Zoho once. Go to api-console.zoho.com on your Zoho data center, click Add Client > Server-based Applications, enter any name and homepage, and set the Authorized Redirect URI to https://pipmcp.com/oauth/callback.

Questions

What can the AI do in Zoho Backstage?

It can list and read events, agendas, sessions, ticket types, orders, order requests, attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, leads and team members. It can create and update events and ticket types, add speakers, sponsors and leads, and approve or reject order requests.

Does the AI see my Zoho Backstage credentials?

No. Your Client ID, Client Secret and sign-in tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Approving or rejecting an order request notifies the buyer, so those tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

Zoho Backstage connects with OAuth, and OAuth connections need the PipMCP Pro plan or above. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Zoho Backstage account.

Why does PipMCP ask for my Zoho domain ending?

Zoho runs separate data centers, such as zoho.com, zoho.eu and zoho.in. The domain ending tells PipMCP which one your account lives in, so sign-in and API calls go to the right place. Create the API client on that same data center.
