Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose ZodQR from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a ZodQR API token. In your ZodQR dashboard go to the Integration page, select the API tab and click Create token. Name it, choose its permissions (optionally an IP whitelist and expiry) and click Save. Copy the token, because it is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in ZodQR?

It can create static QR codes for URLs, phone numbers and text, create and update dynamic URL codes and vCard Plus codes, and list, read, create and rename folders. It cannot delete QR codes or folders.

Does the AI see my ZodQR API token?

No. Your ZodQR credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. Changing a dynamic code changes where printed codes lead, so the update tools can require your approval before they run. You can also limit the token's permissions in ZodQR. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own ZodQR account.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?

A static code has the content built into the image and cannot be edited later. A dynamic code points to a URL that you can change afterwards, and codes that are already printed keep working. Dynamic codes can also ask for a password, limit scans or follow a schedule.
