It reads the event and updates it with the new start and end time. For a repeating event it asks whether to change one, future or all occurrences.
“What changed in the calendar since yesterday?”
It lists events that were created, changed or deleted since that time.

It creates the sub-calendar with that name, and it can then be used for new events.

Paste two values: your Teamup API key and your calendar key. Request a free API key at teamup.com/api-keys/request, and it is emailed to you. The calendar key is the secret part of your calendar link (the ks... in teamup.com/ks...). Use an admin or modify key if the AI should change events.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Teamup Calendar?

It can list, search and read events, list events changed since a given time, and read sub-calendars and the calendar's configuration. It can create and update events, delete events, and create and update sub-calendars.

Does the AI see my Teamup Calendar credentials?

No. Your Teamup Calendar credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Deleting an event can remove one, future or all occurrences of a repeating event, so it can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

Which calendar key should I use?

The calendar key decides what the AI can do in Teamup. A read-only key lets it look up events but not change them. Use an admin or modify key if the AI should create, update or delete events. You find the key in your calendar link, the ks... part after teamup.com/.
