Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Talkwalker from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Talkwalker API access token. Talkwalker issues tokens through your Customer Success Manager: ask for a read_only token (search) or a read_write token (also streams, panels and document changes). API calls consume credits from your API subscription.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in Talkwalker?
The AI can search recent social and news mentions, read the latest documents from a project or a collector, and list a project's topics, filters, source panels and custom metrics. It can also read a stream's queries and list your export tasks. It does not change anything in Talkwalker.
Does the AI see my Talkwalker credentials?
No. Your Talkwalker access token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example project setup lookups without mention search. Every tool call is logged, so you can see which searches used API credits.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Talkwalker account.
Does it use my Talkwalker API credits?
Yes, some tools do. Searching mentions and reading project or collector results use credits from your Talkwalker API subscription on each call. Switch those tools off if you only want the AI to look up project setup.
