Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Social Champ from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Social Champ API key. In Social Champ open Settings > Developer > API Keys, click Create API Key and give it a name. Tick manage_team if you need approvals or bulk actions. Copy the key right away, since it is shown only once. Your Social Champ plan must include API-key access.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Social Champ?

The AI can read workspaces, channels, posts, scheduled posts, posts in review, labels and recycle collections. It can create, update and delete posts, approve or reject posts, set labels, create labels, pause and resume publishing, add posts to recycle collections, and draft text, rewrite text and suggest hashtags with AI.

Does the AI see my Social Champ credentials?

No. Your Social Champ API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. A post without a schedule publishes right away, approving a post sends it on to publish, and deleting a post cannot be undone, so those tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Social Champ account.

Why can the AI not approve posts?

Approvals and bulk actions need the manage_team permission on the API key. Create a new key in Social Champ under Settings > Developer > API Keys with manage_team ticked, and paste it into PipMCP.
