Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Sign.Plus from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Sign.Plus API key. Log in to Sign.Plus, open Profile > Integrations (app.sign.plus/profile/integrations), activate API access and copy the key.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Sign.Plus?

The AI can list and read envelopes, templates and their documents. It can create draft envelopes, including from a template, add signing steps and recipients, fill in dynamic fields, set the comment, notification and expiry, and send envelopes. It can also download signed documents and certificates, and duplicate, rename, void or delete envelopes.

Does the AI see my Sign.Plus API key?

No. Your Sign.Plus API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Sending an envelope emails your recipients, and voiding or deleting one cannot be undone. Those actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Sign.Plus account.

Can the AI upload a new document to sign?

No. The tools do not upload files. The AI works with documents that are already in Sign.Plus, most often by creating an envelope from one of your templates. You add new documents and templates in Sign.Plus itself.
