Pick the app

Paste your key
Enter your Sendmsg Site ID and API password. Your Site ID is your Sendmsg account number. The API password is issued by Sendmsg support: email [email protected] and ask for your account's API password.

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in Sendmsg?
The AI can read subscribers, subscriber fields, mailing lists and who is on them, message statistics and your SMS credit balance. It can add subscribers, add them to or remove them from lists, create mailing lists and email drafts, and send email and SMS messages to lists.
Does the AI see my Sendmsg API password?
No. Your Sendmsg credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lists and statistics only. Sending email or SMS to a list reaches every subscriber on it, and removing subscribers from lists changes who gets your campaigns. These actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Sendmsg account.
Will the AI send campaigns on its own?
Only when it calls a send tool. Creating an email message makes a draft, and adding subscribers does not send anything. send_email_to_lists and send_sms_to_lists go out to every subscriber on the chosen lists, and SMS uses your credit. Require approval for both if you want to confirm every send.
