Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Refersion from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Refersion Client ID and Client Secret. In Refersion, go to Settings › Integrations › Refersion API Keys and, in the OAuth section, choose Generate OAuth Client. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret, since the secret is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Refersion?

It can search and count affiliates and conversions, read conversions, affiliate activity and custom fields, list clicks, promotion methods and offers, and check whether an order was credited. It can create tracking links and promotion methods, and update affiliates, offers and conversion statuses.

Does the AI see my Refersion credentials?

No. Your Client ID and Client Secret are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Approving or denying affiliates, changing a conversion's status and changing an offer's commission can affect payouts, so those tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Refersion account.

Where do I find my Refersion Client ID and Client Secret?

In Refersion, open Settings › Integrations › Refersion API Keys and choose Generate OAuth Client in the OAuth section. Copy both values right away, because the secret is shown only once. PipMCP uses them to get access to your Refersion account for you.
