Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose OwnerRez from the app list.

Paste your key
Enter your OwnerRez login email and a Personal Access Token. In OwnerRez, go to Settings > Advanced Tools > Developer/API Settings and create a Personal Access Token. Copy it right away, it starts with pt_ and is shown once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in OwnerRez?

It can read your user, properties, calendars, availability, bookings, guests, inquiries, quotes, messages, payments, reviews, owners and listing sites. It can create and update bookings and guests, create quotes and send messages to guests on their conversation threads.

Does the AI see my OwnerRez Personal Access Token?

No. You paste your Personal Access Token into PipMCP once. It is encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save it. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. Switch on only the tools you want, for example availability and lookups without changes. Actions that change your calendar or reach guests, like create_booking or send_message, can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You connect your own OwnerRez account, so anything OwnerRez charges is between you and OwnerRez.

Can the AI price a stay without creating anything?

Yes. The create_quote tool has a test option that only calculates the price for a property, dates and guest count without saving a quote. You can also read the property calendar to see nightly availability and rates for up to a year.
