Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Modash from the app list.

Paste your key
Modash API access is a separate Modash API subscription. Log in and open the developer section at marketer.modash.io/developer, then copy your access token and paste it into PipMCP.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Modash?

The AI can search for creators on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with filters or a plain-language query, find Instagram lookalikes and look up accounts by name or handle. It can pull full influencer reports, compare audience overlap, read brand collaborations, find creators by email, and create, read and edit saved creator lists. It can also check your remaining credits.

Does the AI see my Modash credentials?

No. Your Modash access token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can allow searches and reports without list changes. Removing creators from a saved list can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Modash API subscription, and many searches and reports use your Modash credits.

Do searches and reports use Modash credits?

Yes, many do, including influencer searches, AI searches, lookalikes, audience overlap and full reports. The AI can check your remaining credits first. To get the user IDs that reports and lists need, it looks up accounts by name or handle.
