Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Manifestly Checklists from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Manifestly API key. A master admin opens Account Settings › Integrations (app.manifest.ly/account?section=integrations) and creates an API key. A key scoped to the whole account may need a department ID on some write calls.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Manifestly Checklists?

It can list and read workflows, workflow steps, runs, run steps, run fields, step comments, departments and users. It can create and update workflows and steps, comment on workflows, start and update runs, complete, skip, undo or assign run steps, save step data and close runs.

Does the AI see my Manifestly Checklists credentials?

No. Your Manifestly API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Completing a step and closing a run change what your team sees, and both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

Who can create a Manifestly API key?

A master admin creates the key under Account Settings › Integrations in Manifestly. If the key covers the whole account, some write calls may need a department ID. The AI can find it with the list_departments tool.
