Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Lumin from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Lumin API key. You must be a Lumin Workspace Owner. In Lumin go to Settings → Developer settings → API keys, click Generate key, name it and click Create. Copy the key right away, because it is not shown again.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Lumin?

It can send signature requests directly or from a template, read their status, remind signers, change the expiry date, cancel a request, get signing links, and fetch signed files and certificates. It can list and read templates, generate documents from them, and summarize, translate, compress, merge and split PDFs. It can also read your workspace, its members and Spaces.

Does the AI see my Lumin API key?

No. Your Lumin credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools you switch on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with reading only. Sending a signature request or a reminder emails real people, and cancelling a request cannot be undone. These actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link works in Claude under Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, and in Cursor.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own Lumin account.

Who can create the Lumin API key?

Only a Lumin Workspace Owner can create API keys. The owner goes to Settings → Developer settings → API keys, generates a key and copies it right away. The AI then works in that workspace.
