Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose inwise from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your inwise API key. In your inwise account open Developer in the left main menu and choose Api Key. Copy an existing key or create a new one with a descriptive name. If API access is not enabled for your account, ask inwise support to open the permission for your API key.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in inwise?

The AI can search, read, add, update and count contacts, read contact history, list contact fields, groups, unsubscribed contacts, templates, automations and forms. It can create and update email and SMS campaign drafts, send them, read campaign stats, send transactional emails and SMS, unsubscribe contacts and delete a contact.

Does the AI see my inwise credentials?

No. Your inwise API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Sending a campaign or a transactional message reaches real people, and deleting a contact is permanent, so those can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own inwise account.

Does the AI send a campaign as soon as it creates it?

No. Creating an email or SMS campaign only makes a draft. It goes out when send_email_campaign or send_sms_campaign runs, to the group or segmentation you pick, now or at a set time. You can require your approval for those two tools.
