Set up in three steps

    Pick the app

    Create a free PipMCP account and choose Gamma from the app list.

    Paste your key

    Paste a Gamma API key. API keys need a Gamma Pro, Ultra, Teams or Business plan. In Gamma go to Settings > API Keys (gamma.app/settings/api-keys), create a key and copy it. Generations through the API use your Gamma credits.

    Add the link to your AI

    You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:

    1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
    2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
    3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Gamma?

The AI can generate presentations, documents, webpages and social posts from text or from a template, generate images and export a gamma to a file such as PDF or PPTX. It can search your gammas, templates, themes and folders, read a gamma's analytics, viewers and comments, and archive a gamma if you switch that tool on.

Does the AI see my Gamma credentials?

No. Your Gamma credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example search and analytics without generation. Generating gammas and images uses Gamma credits and archiving hides a gamma from your lists, so these can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Gamma account. Generations through the API use your Gamma credits.

Which Gamma plan do I need?

Gamma API keys need a Gamma Pro, Ultra, Teams or Business plan. You create the key under Settings > API Keys in Gamma. Each generation of a gamma or an image uses credits from your Gamma account.
