Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Envoy from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Client API Key from Envoy. In the Envoy dashboard open the Dev Dashboard, click Create New, name the integration and add the API scopes you need, for example entries.read, invites.read, invites.write and reservations.read. Save it and copy the Client API Key shown for the integration.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Envoy?

The AI can read locations, employees, visitor entries, invites, recurring invites, sign-in flows, desks, spaces, reservations, work schedules, deliveries and blocklist entries. It can create and update invites, sign visitors in and out, book, check in to and cancel desk and room reservations, schedule office days, and manage desks, deliveries and the blocklist.

Does the AI see my Envoy credentials?

No. Your Envoy Client API Key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Invites and visitor sign-ins can reach people outside PipMCP, and cancelling a reservation or deleting an invite is permanent, so these can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Envoy account.

Which Envoy scopes should I give the integration?

Only the ones you need. Each Envoy endpoint needs a matching scope on the integration, for example entries.read to read the visitor log or invites.write to create invites. If a scope is missing, Envoy refuses the call. That works as a second limit next to the tools you switch on in PipMCP.
